常見的倫敦印象之一，現在要看到塔橋升降並非易事，據說要在24小時前給予通知申請。

童軍創始人貝登堡爵士(Lord Baden-Powell)雖然長眠於肯亞，不過在這裡也有紀念碑

其實它目前的正式名稱是Elizabeth Tower，這個名稱是在慶祝女皇伊莉莎白二世的登基60週年慶(Diamond Jubilee)後變更的，現在大笨鐘仍然是世界上最大的四面鐘塔(the largest four-faced chiming clock in the world)，也是世界上第三高的獨立鐘塔(third-tallest free-standing clock tower)

London is not only England's capital; it is also the largest city in the United Kingdom.  There is a a lot to do on a visit to London - you can take in the beautiful architecture of Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.  You can enjoy the views of London from the top of a double-decker bus, and, of course, see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the home of Queen Elizabeth II.  Finally, don't forget to spend an afternoon at the British Museum, where you can see Egyptian mummies, the Elgin Marbles and other artifacts from around the world.

Buckingham Palace has been used as a royal residence since 1837, when it was inhabited by Queen Victoria.  Over 50,000 visitors are welcomed to Buckingham Palace as guests at parties and other events, and even more come to the park where it located simply to take a look. Most of these come at the right time to see the Changing of the Guard; a world-famous formal ceremony that is a must-see in London.

-tea: dinner
-"Go on then": "sure" or "go ahead"
-"Spot on": similar to "great"; a person showing appreciation or to compliment someone or something用法像是美式英文的"well done", "perfect" or "right on"
